Curious about trying watercolour painting but unsure where to start? Or maybe it’s been years since you picked up a paintbrush, and now you're ready to dive back in? You’re in exactly the right place!
I run relaxed, beginner-friendly watercolour workshops at Harrow Arts Centre, just a stone’s throw from Hatch End station. The vibe is creative, calming, and just a little bit splashy!
Whether you’re coming solo, with a friend, or booking a creative treat for yourself, here’s a little peek at what to expect…

No Experience? No Problem!
Honestly—if you haven’t painted since school or are still figuring out which end of the brush to hold, you’ll be absolutely fine. My workshops are designed with complete beginners in mind. You’ll receive plenty of guidance, demos, and time to play.
What You'll Learn
In my workshops, you’ll learn:
How to use watercolour materials
Simple techniques like blending, layering, and splashing
How to paint loose, expressive scenes (think florals, seascapes, or even animals)
Each workshop has a specific theme, and you’ll go home with your own painting—plus the excitement of having tried something new!

All Materials Provided
You don’t need to bring anything—just yourself and maybe a friend. I provide all the materials, from paints to lovely textured paper. There’s a friendly welcome and time to chat in between painting too. It’s a wonderful way to unwind and meet other creative souls.

Who Joins the Fun?
People just like you! My workshops attract a diverse crowd:
Adults looking for a creative outlet
Parents with arty children aged 10 and up
Busy parents treating themselves to a couple of hours off
Retirees reconnecting with their artistic side
Absolute beginners eager to learn
Hobby painters looking to build confidence
And yes—you’re allowed to feel nervous. But you won’t be for long, I promise.
Where It All Happens
Workshops take place at Harrow Arts Centre in North West London, a lovely venue filled with natural light and free parking. It’s easily reachable from Hatch End, Pinner, Harrow, Ruislip, and surrounding areas.
