If the back-to-school buzz makes you crave something new and just-for-you… I’ve got just the thing.
I’m planning a brand new 6-week floral watercolour s course in Harrow for adults, starting this September at Harrow Arts Centre, North West London and I’d love to know if it’s something you’d fancy joining.
Think wild blooms, loose brushwork, joyful colours, and a calm, creative space just for you – no pressure, just plenty of play.
Whether you’re a total beginner or you’ve dabbled a little already, this floral painting course will guide you step by step through painting beautiful flowers in watercolour. From bold peonies and meadows to soft peonies and leafy greens – we’ll explore it all.
🌼 What to expect from the course
Over the 6 weeks, we’ll cover:
Watercolour techniques for petals, stems and backgrounds
Composition tips to bring your florals to life
Colour mixing for harmonious, glowing palettes
Ideas for combining flowers into mini compositions or full paintings
Each class is held in person at Harrow Arts Centre, perfect if you’re looking for adult art classes near you in North West London. It’s relaxed, welcoming and beginner-friendly – and you’ll leave each week with something lovely you’ve made by hand.
🌿 Art for your wellbeing
Lots of people come to my classes not just to learn watercolour, but to enjoy some gentle time out – away from screens, chores, and everyday to-do lists.
Painting in watercolour can be wonderfully meditative – the swish of the brush, the blend of colours, the surprise of the splashes – it’s a simple joy. Many of my students say they leave class feeling lighter, calmer, and a little more themselves again.
🖌️ Interested in a floral watercolour course in Harrow?
I’m finalising dates and themes now, and places tend to fill up quickly – especially in autumn when everyone’s ready for a fresh start. If this sounds like your kind of thing, pop your name on my email list or message me directly, and I’ll make sure you’re the first to hear when booking opens.
You don’t need fancy kit or loads of experience – just a splash of curiosity and the willingness to have a go. Come and paint with me this September – it might just be the creative reset you’ve been looking for.
