Incognito 2020 - Sold out in 28 minutes despite Covid

Wow, the annual Incognito Art Sale sold out in 28 minutes this morning, raising over €140,000 in aid of the Jack & Jill's Children's Foundation ( www.jackandjill.ie ) .

I was delighted to have three works included this year for this lovely cause.

Incognito is a secret art sale in aid of charity. Over 1000 artist donated over 2500 postcard size artworks. Amongst those works this year were some from Bono, Bruce & Patti Springsteen and Vincent Devine. The suprise of this sale is that, as the name suggests, anyone who purchases a

piece of art for €50 doesn’t know who the artist is until they turn it over to reveal the name on the back.

This year was especially well done as it was forced to move online instead of a gallery sale due to Covid-19.

Every cent from Incognito is used to fund Jack & Jill’s home nursing-care for very sick children, who do better at home, where they are well cared for by their parents with critical support from Jack & Jill nurses and carers.
