Watercolour Cherry Blossom – Negative Painting Workshop 🌸 Saturday 23rd August | 10am–12 noon | Harrow Arts Centre, Hatch End 🌿 Join me for a gentle, creative morning exploring the beautiful technique of negative painting in watercolour—perfect for beginners and curious creatives alike. In this 2-hour workshop, we’ll be painting soft, expressive cherry blossom against a richly layered background, learning how to suggest shapes by painting around them. It’s a wonderful, meditative process that helps you slow down and see your painting in a whole new way. ✨ You’ll learn how to: – Use the negative space technique to reveal petal and leaf shapes – Build up depth with translucent layers – Work confidently with water, flow and expressive brushwork – Let go of perfection and enjoy the process All materials are provided—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to play with paint. You'll leave with your own beautiful blossom artwork and a new technique to explore further at home. Adults £25 | 14–21 year olds £20 Held in the Gainsborough Room (1st Floor, Art Block).
