The playful colour lab - an introduction to the colour wheel Take the mystery out of colour mixing and start painting with confidence in this workshop for adults. If you’ve ever wondered which colours work well together, why some paintings feel vibrant and others muddy, or how to choose a palette without overthinking it, this session is for you. Through a series of beautiful mini floral exercises, you’ll explore key colour theory concepts in a relaxed and practical way. During the workshop you’ll discover: Hue, Value, Saturation/Tone How to mix cleaner, fresher colours Complementary, harmonious an split-complimentary colour combinations & more How to create soft neutrals Leave knowing how to choose your colours with more confidence This class is suitable for beginners as well as improvers who’d like to strengthen their understanding of colour. Expect friendly guidance, plenty of demonstrations, and lots of time to experiment. Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or brushing up on your technique, you’ll leave feeling inspired (and a little bit in love with watercolour!).
